Canola Fields

Yesterday Carol snapped The Theewaterskloof Dam with the canola fields in full bloom on the far side. The bee keepers use these canola flowers to grow their hives (after the populations reduce in the winter months). When the bees have done their job over there, the hives are moved into the apple orchards just in time to pollinate the spring blossom and ensure a good crop for us to enjoy. You gotta love these little bugs.
